The Blaser Horses
One of our foundation mares and best producers for us has been our black *Aladdinn Granddaughter, KF Bold Lass, who we recently sold to Sweden. While remembering the black stallion movie Kim always enjoyed as a child, finding a black Arabian horse that was worthy of her owning and that she could afford, was a harder task than what she had ever realized. After studying pedigrees and lines that produce the black gene for over ten years, the realization of just buying a black horse rather than trying to breed one, was the key. Bold Lass consistently out produced herself with each of the six foals she has had, five fillies and one colt to date. We are extremely excited to have this wonderful and Exotic young colt she produced in February of 2008, named Blaser Marcon, who is by the incomparable Exotic stallion QR Marc. QR Marc was owned by Rohara Arabians in partnership and then sold to Belgium in 2007 after breeding a record number of over 80 mares and before one foal was born! Marcon will be available to a select group of outside mares in 2010 and will produce black, as well as extreme type and quality. Bold Lass has proven herself once again, by producing a beautiful chestnut filly in 2009 by Magnum Psyche after arriving in Sweden. We wish her all the best with all her future foals and she will be missed by our family.
We currently have as Bold Lass' replacement, her 2003 Chestnut daughter named CA Ambertana. She was bred by our mentor Chuck Albiol, who owns her sire Montana, who is by Tornado who has had foals marketed to Brazil in past years. Amber will produce black every time she is bred to it and with her unbelievable exotic beauty and type, she will be a wonderful producer for us and has been bred to the exotic black homozygous stallion, BST Nova for a guaranteed black foal in 2010. Amber is a full sister to Bold Lass' first daughter, the extremely exotic black Tornado granddaughter, Blaser Botanaka, who has been sold to England. Blaser Botanaka is the dam of one of our 2007 foals, the bay gelding Blaser Fuel, by Bask Afire Bey. Blaser Botanaka was bred to QR Marc in 2008, while at Jadem Arabians in Belgium and produced a lovely bay colt in February 2009 at her new home in the UK.
We also have an incredible black show mare named Sable DC, who is by *Soho Carol by Ali Jamaal, out of Psyloette PA, by Padrons Psyche. She is a Region 12 Top Five Three year old winning champion show mare and produced a lovely filly by Gazal Al Shaqab in 2008. With her type, size and color, not to mention her producing ability, she will also be a wonderful producer for us. We look forward to getting some incredible foals out of this beautiful black mare and she is being bred to the exotic black homozygous stallion, BST Nova for a guaranteed black foal in 2010.
We also have our black producing bay mare named Blaser Beyonca, by Beyond Bey, a black homozygous stallion by *Soho Carol (by Ali Jamaal). She is out of CA Llimelite, who was also bred by our mentor, Chuck Albiol and she is by Lamolin, who is out of a really exotic PH Egyptian mare we also used to own named PH Starlite. We have two breedings booked now for this lovely young mare, one to the exotic black stallion BST Nova for 2010 and to Amir Jamaal for the future, which should both be incredible foals for us.
We also have another of Bold Lass fillies, a 2007 black producing bay filly, Blaser Azura, who will never produce a chestnut foal. She is by the U.S. National Top Ten Halter Stallion, Bask Afire Bey, who stands at Rohara Arabians and has had numerous titles in performance, as well as winning liberty at Scottsdale. Azura is currently available for sale to the right home and is one we would consider keeping. She is just as sweet as her mother is and will be hard to let go of.
Also part of our herd is the colorful Half Arabian mare, Blaser Korinda. She is a ¾ Arabian Palomino Pinto, by LA Kochise, who is by Khemosabi, out of Grandeurs Rose A Belle, a Buckskin Pinto bred by Stanley White and by a Polish Arabian, out of a Chincoteague Pony mare. She is not black, but with her type, beauty and color, is a nice bonus to our farm and all the kids and visitors always enjoy seeing her. a real life Misty! We plan to breed her to a quality Arabian stallion down the road, for what should also be some really nice Half Arabians, with gorgeous color, that look like purebred Arabians.
